PRIVATE / SEMI PRIVATE LESSONS
Firner Equestrian offers private and semi-private lessons for all ages and abilities, whether you’re just starting your equestrian journey or you would like to brush up on your more advanced skills.
Introductory lesson - $100
All of our first-time students will have an introductory lesson so they can meet the staff, get to know the horses, and spend a little extra one-on-one time with your instructor to ensure that you’ll become an independent horseman as soon as possible!
Traditional lesson - $100
Package of three - $90 each
Package of five - $85
Package of ten - $80
After their introductory lesson, students will continue to practice their horsemanship skills on the ground to ensure that they can eventually handle their horses alone safely and effectively. Minimum 30 minutes of mounted work.
Full service lesson - $125
Our full service lessons do not require the rider to do any unmounted horsemanship. Your horse will be ready for you when you arrive and you will get a minimum of 50 minutes of mounted work.
Reserved hour private lesson - $125
If you would like to work one-on-one with you trainer for the full hour without other students, we can reserve your lesson hour to ensure no other clients need our attention at that time.
Lesson horse reservation -
We match our students to a horse that will support our riders' current abilities, but if you would like to reserve a specific lesson horse you may do so for a $15 fee.
*Please be advised, we require that you provide a 24-hour cancellation notice to avoid being charged for the full hour.
Camps
At Firner Equestrian, Pony Camp is about more than learning to ride - it's about learning to understand horses.
Each day combines a riding lesson, hands-on horsemanship, horse care, games, crafts, and plenty of time spent with our wonderful lesson horses. Campers learn not only how to ride, but how horses think, communicate, and learn.
We believe confident riders are built through patience, curiosity, and clear communication. Whether your child is meeting a horse for the first time or already loves being in the barn, our goal is to create a fun, supportive environment where both horse and rider can succeed.
From grooming and tacking up to riding and barn games, every activity is designed to build confidence, responsibility, and a lifelong appreciation for horses.
Come get dirty, make new friends, and discover just how much horses can teach us.
